Political Education: Do you really believe what you believe?

We are Americans.  We are supposed to disagree with each other.  Dissent towards the government and the 'party' in power is a healthy and natural part of our free society.  These are things I am happy for.  This post is to be more for the explanation of certain principle of our culture and the debt we owe to our amazing society in general.  This post hasn't been created to attack either 'side' or a group of people.  Just an honest mans view of the country he loves.

First, the way that the majority of  citizens view the political spectrum is false.  They see the Democrats and Progressives on the left and the Republicans and Conservatives on the right.  To describe how this is inaccurate is that Democrats and Republicans are both on the right.  In this country we don't know what it is like to live on the left side of the political spectrum.  Although, many have fled countries that exercise under the far left side of the political spectrum and can tell you about it.  If you are a citizen of this country you ought to thank God or whomever you believe in that you were born here rather than somewhere else.  You have want for nothing, all of your needs are taken care of and the things we bicker and complain about are luxuries to 80% of the population of the world.  This humble person believes it's about time to change our perspective.

The political spectrum is often discussed as having an x axis and a y axis.  One dealing with economic politics and the other social politics.   I believe in a more purist diagram of the spectrum where they two axis' are combined into one.  On the furthest side of the left you have True Totalitarian Society where a dictator or junta( small group of political elite) control every single aspect of the citizens life and society.  The dictator or junta control the social and political aspect of every thing in the country; there are no rights and there are no voice of opposition that can be tolerated.  The committee or dictator manages education, art, private life, science and even morals of their citizens.  The officially proclaimed ideology penetrates into the deepest reaches of societal structure and the totalitarian government seeks to completely control the thoughts and actions of its citizens .  Again, I am grateful where I was born.

On the furthest side of the right we have, Total Anarchy. The word anarchy actually means
'absence of a leader' or ' without ruler'  to suggest that the most true form of anarchy can be defined as a political system which isn't.  A society which has no rule of law and no government in place.  Basically a 'do as you please' society with no limits, restrictions or regulations.  Although there are disruptions about what anarchy can really mean, it is apparent in the context of its definition that to be without a ruler or governance would elude to complete and total freedom.  Economic freedom and social freedom.

So if we have defined the two most extreme examples of governance or lack thereof, then where do find ourselves in our present situation in this country?   I think it is obvious after defining the two most extreme political examples that our current leaders are pushing us toward a more controlled type of socialism, although some citizens desire this or believe in this, it is to their own disadvantage, and detriment to our society as a whole.  The founders and the constitution are the 'law of the land' and they ought not be violated, as we are currently seeing with the press being spied on by the government, violating the 1st amendments right to free press.  There cannot be socialism in America without destruction of the Constitution, the new Affordable Healthcare Act is in direct violation of that constitution, and I don't think anyone will want any part of it once they find out what is in it.

The form of government we are supposed to have in this country is a  Federal Republic.  This means that if the constitution doesn't specifically underline powers to the federal government then the states have authority over the matter.  The states have more power than they exercise.  With the limits of a federal republic, they are equally as powerful as the federal government.  Which doesn't exactly strike you as the balance we see today.

So study what you believe before you grab you sign and protest.  The Democrats in this country are not liberals; they are statist socialists.  The Republicans are not conservatives they neo-statist comprimisers.  All in all the vast majority of politicians are becoming rich off of being politicians, they do not work for the citizen anymore, they work for lobby groups, most get hired by these lobby groups when they leave office.

So if you truly want to believe in Hope and Change it is time to elect people who honor the Constitution and want to serve the people as statesmen not politicians.  A statesmen will listen to their constituents not follow their own agenda or lobbyist groups.

So check where you are born, be grateful for what you have and vote for the suppression of government, not the expansion of government.

I love my country.  Oh and just so you know I am not a Democrat, Liberal, Progressive, Republican, Moderate, or Conservative.

I am a Constitutional Libertarian

A New America?

Well, looking back we will all be able to see it.  The rights of business owners and other citizens who want nothing less than to just make their lives a little better every year, year after year.  The government is broken and anyone who tries to dispute that either works for the government or has no sense of reality.  Think back 50 years and the things that were abhorred in the country.  Things were not perfect but the policies put into place over those 50 years has created a much worse situation.  This post has nothing to do with sides, who is right or who is wrong.  I'll let the politicians point the fingers, I'm an American.

Anyone who can see the injustices in society that are being undertaken by the government is truly paying  attention.  It is too easy to bury your head in the sand, go to work everyday( if you actually have a job), watch tv all night, and get drunk with your friends in the mean time.  That is exactly what they want you to do.   I am not that old and I know that this great experiment is pretty much over.

Think what you want but unless we see a revival of common sense in this great land, we will fall in to civil unrest.  You cannot dispute the facts anymore, those in power now are setting up the pieces to fall so they can usher in a completely different set of ideas, control.

I know I usually do not post about political issues but as a patriot I have remained silent for too long.  The truth must get out so we can protect ourselves and our families.

What do you want to be remebered for?

I know in this day and age things are just about upside down.  Good is called bad and bad is called good. We are told to let the government  raise our kids instead of having the parents do it.  Yes all these acts of violence are clearly because all of the guns in the country, just like DWI's are all because of the cars.  As a group of people, a collective the time has come to stop bickering about certain issues, or non-issues and start becoming the United States.  I heard a quote along time ago and I cannot remember where I heard it but it was stated:
" Before the civil war people used to say the United States are, Not until after the war did people start saying the United States is".....

I truly believe that the U.S.  is in dire straits.  If you follow the issues then you already know this.  If you do not follow the issues and your more concerned about watching 'The Walking Dead' or play the game which 'Kardashian is knock up' , then you can keep your head in the sand and be buried with the rest of the people who think everything is just fine.   I have a better idea, you can get your head out the sand, listen to a little bit of Rush Limbaugh,  Sean Hannity, or Glenn Beck try to discover a little bit of truth in your life that might actually make a difference.  Your thoughts are what you take in constantly, if you are barraged with negative, untruthful garbage then you will start to believe it.  But the opposite is also the same,  I encourage you to find the positive, healthy things in life and grab on to those.  Listen to motivational audio, watch educational things, study things out to make sure your not being lied to.

Unfortunately,  Us citizens who care and already know these things are shocked that people do not care what is happening.  We know all to well that people are lazy and taught to be lazy.  Programmed to be lazy, ever go to Walmart on a Friday night, have you ever watched too much tv.  It's too easy to just sit and let your brain rot away.  I don't even want to get started on the food people eat, it all helps keep them lazy and fat, always perpetuating their negative attitudes and low self esteem.

What I want is for people to wake up, band together and stop this so called government right now.  No more waiting, no more finger pointing.  Every level of government is breaking the law everyday.  And we let it happen, needless to say I would like to be remembered as someone who stood up for what I believe in and someone who helps others see the truth.

I can't wait to write more later.  Hope you enjoyed.

Coffee anyone?

I love a great cup of coffee but what I enjoy more is enjoying that coffee wherever the road brings my car and me.  Whether I am sipping a cup of fresh brewed arabica bean in the comforts of my own home, or on the beach sipping some black french press watching the waves come in.

What I do know is I enjoy the freedom I have to be able to enjoy these things.  All made possible by a special place that has enabled me to have ultimate freedom.  My own business that pays me every month every time.  You can have this too .

Check it out:

You will love it.  So enjoy that latest cup of brew and I'll see you on the beach.

What will you do today?

The Walking Dead..... Are you serious this constitutes great programming nowadays.   I am glad I gave up on watching the majority of tv long ago.  I prefer to be living my life, I am awake.  Don't get me wrong I enjoy an entertaining show every now and then, Psych or The Simpsons.  But to just grow older everyday and think that your life is your job, or your car or something else of little value is just a shame.

This is your wake up call,  to brush yourself off and climb out of the hole you have been living in.  Instead of caring about what other people do or don't do, strike out today and do something different.  It is uncomfortable but it is what is necessary if you want anything different in your life.   Or you can listen to some negative person who hates their job and has no success tell you how you can't be successful. That makes sense.  For the sake of your life you need to do this.  Start today to make your life different for tomorrow.

You owe it to yourself .

Direction?

This is an open letter, to all who wish to read.  I am very distraught in my time here.  I have just about everything that anyone could want in this world.  Yet I am depressed beyond belief only because I know I am not fulfilling my purpose.  As a man my job is what I do, I just can't wrap my fingers around the fact that I know I am working where I don't belong.  This leaves me feeling empty.
I am always so happy and grateful for everything, but with being sick and depressed most the time, it is hard to put motivation to work for me and achieve the goals I have set for myself.

It is my desire to personally meet and help others find what their life purpose is, a life coach.  To be able to work with someone who wants to achieve more in their lives and help them reach the top, wherever it may be for them.  Truly my gift is with people, and I need to use it.  There is no reason for me to be depressed so much, other than my chronic migraines I am perfectly healthy.  I have a beautiful wife, with who I have been with for 8 years.  Two wonderful sons, age 3 and 1, a rescue greyhound who I adore, a very affordable but more than necessary house that is big for my family, amazing relatives who are proud of me and happy, plus some of the truest friends a man could ever ask for.  I have no reason to be melancholy except in the area of work.  Which is another thing, I love my boss, who I consider more of a friend than a boss,  who has given me everything I could ever need, including a great paying position and benefits, but if I am not fulfilled, so I need to ask myself, is that everything?

I am quite thankful for all of these things.  Especially when it comes to my job.  Although, I will not feel the joy that I need to feel unless I am helping others through their careers and tough times.  I want to help people achieve their dreams.  I need to be mobile, always in motion, always talking and helping other people.  I cannot be stagnant, immobile, this adds to my despair.  So I wake up this morning, and take my responsibilities into my own hands, to dream a bit more and act on my thoughts.  If I must change things than right now is the best time to do that.  So I choose to walk on my own, through a ever changing world.  To soldier on for a true cause, my cause, to make me whole.

America Matters

Why does America matter?

In times of crisis political leaders should be giving their condolences and attention to prayers and emotional support for any who need.  What they shouldn't be doing is trying to capitalize on someone else's heartache and nightmare.  If we live in a society which wants to focus on positive relationships and the good in people, then we should be focusing on the calls to prayer, not the calls regulate.

This is an opportunity, as a country, The Greatest Country, to come together and reflect upon ourselves as a entire group of citizens which make up a society and slow down to think towards the decisions we make.  Almost all crime comes from some sort of selfishness.  I believe it has become apparent that we need more self-less people, such as the hero's of 9-11 who took over the plane in Pennsylvania or the teachers and kids who sacrificed themselves to save other children in the Newtown Tragedy.  We should all be thinking of these things and not just after an atrocity but throughout the entire year.

Everyday we should be grateful for all of the abundant things we have in this great land.  A house, a job, food, friends, family, a car or two, the freedoms that are all too often taken for granted.  Slow down and look at what you have, if I could offer some advice to your life,  take in things in a delicate balance.

Look at the things you do and try to balance your life, sometimes the sanity and peace is there among the patient.

Thank God Everynight for What You Do Have

That is Why America Matters.
